SELECT & XL

Bellevue United FC is bringing the best training and brand of soccer to the Bellevue and the surrounding area with  Aaron Byers and Radcliffe McDougald, as the Club's Boys and Girls Director of Coaching.

Byers is a long time soccer coach and trainer in the Seattle area having trained and coached at FC Barcelona and Kleiben's 3Four3 Academy, and coached at EFC and our sister club MIFC. McDougald is a long time girls coach with BUFC and MIFC. They are further supported by our professional coaches that have won numerous State Cups, and guest appearances by players from the Sounders FC and Reign FC.

BUFC's soccer program allows kids to play at Select levels of soccer with their neighborhood friends and schoolmates but without the requirement to specialize in just one sport year-round.  Practices are throughout the Bellevue area.

For some, Select soccer is the answer for the serious athlete involved in more than one sport as Select coaches usually allow for "excused" absences during the winter portion of the season. BUFC consistently produces highly competitive teams for both boys and girls.  Practices are typically twice a week with games on Saturday or Sunday.  If you are looking for the Premier experience with your friends but without single-sport specialization, the commute time and expense of Premier, BUFC is a great path.

The "main" season is 10-12 weeks long in the fall for Select, preceded by various tournaments in the summer months and a post-season tournament in the winter and or spring depending upon the team. Travel for games during regular season can be as far north as North Whidbey Island, as far west as Bremerton, as far south as Olympia and as far east as North Bend if on a Select team.  Summer tournaments are typically played in the greater Seattle and or Puget Sound area with some teams opting to travel to Oregon for tournaments.

Some teams continue to play as desired in NPSL Spring League soccer or Washington Youth Soccer State Cups whether with their team fully intact or through a joint team with players from sister clubs to form a fully rostered team.

If your child wants to train with some of the best, compete at a high level, play with friends in Bellevue and the surrounding area and build lifelong friendships, BUFC is worth exploring.

A few spots may still be available throughout the year.  Email Select Registrar if interested in joining a team.
